Gray and Brown Season
The last half of 2024 went by like a blur. I had hoped to keep up with the blog at least every other month but it just didn't happen. The beauty of seedlings, weeding, composting, harvesting, weeding, and harvesting some more, kept me on my toes, then market season started, and then Christmas sales. This season also brought it’s share of seasonal illness and I had to step back from a few commitments despite my hopes to somehow do it all.
I also felt quite blessed to have a rush of late fall bridal bouquet preservations as well. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy meeting brides, hearing about the weddings, and helping bring their vision to life. There certainly is a learning curve with everything, and as more people have asked for things like full color correction, I have been able to hone in on these new skills.
I think the main thing I learned through this past year has been to enjoy the process, know my limits, and how much I enjoy sharing about it all.
So here’s to a new year, more learning, even more flowers, and more loving our actual lives, whether in grayscale or in full color!
